The weeks seem to be flying past and we are in the midst of festival season, this weekend I will be gracing the fields for the first time, on the hunt for new artists of course.
In the meantime, the sun is shining and I have something extra special for you this week.
Heard of a little thing called Spotify, I think it's sorta big now. Well, I have handpicked the creme de la creme for you lovely lot and I would love for you to take a listen.

Anyway, this week, I have some goodies.
1. BOY - Little Numbers
This duo are quickly becoming my favourite act of 2012. Boy have seen their success rapidly progress following their debut track Little Numbers, developing as a somewhat overnight internet sensation via. YouTube.
Formed in 2007 by Valeska Steiner and Sonja Glass, the Swiss-German duo have perfected their intricate vocals and slow, melodic sounds to a tee. Their debut album, Mutual Friends was released in Autumn 2011 however, has just arrived in the UK, available to purchase from today.
The album explores the chemistry of these two talented artists, with their perfectly harmonised vocal interplay telling a story oh so delightfully. The Hamburg duo have been announced to support Katie Melua on her upcoming tour. I expect you'll be hearing a lot more of these two and to be frank, I can't wait. Definitely ones to watch.
2. Crystal Fighters - Plage
Formed in London, 2007, this British/Spanish electronic band are best known for their captivating live performances and their unique style. The band are made up of lead vocals and guitarist, Sebastian Pringle, Gilbert Vierich, electronics, percussion and guitar and Graham Dickson on guitar. In addition, the wonderful Laure Stockley and Mimi Borrelli on vocals.
The new release from this band is the perfect festival, summer song, with an catchy, excitable tone, sure to get stuck in your head, but it'll be worth it.
3. St Vincent - Cheerleader
Hailing from America, I introduce to you the wonderful Annie Erin Clarke, better known as St. Vincent. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Annie began playing the guitar at the age of 12 and begun her musical career as a member of The Polyphonic Spree. Clark later formed part of Sufjan Stevens' touring band before forming her own band in 2006.
Now residing in Manhattan, St Vincent comes with a following many could dream of including the likes of The Civil Wars and Bon Iver. Her collaboration with Bon Iver, Roslyn appeared on the soundtrack of Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Cheerleader comes from St Vincents' latest album, Strange Mercy, released in September, 2011.
4. Willy Mason - We Can Be Strong
Hailing from New York, Mason was born into a world of folk, with both his parents folk singers.
Having toured with the likes of Radiohead and Death Cab for Cutie, Mason has the ability to enthral any audience with his charming bluesy/folk vocals.
We Can Be Strong was released as a single in 2007, featuring the talented KT Tunstall and is taken from Mason's critically acclaimed second album, When The Ocean Gets Rough.
Willy Mason is currently working on a new album and last year featured in the wonderful No Room For Doubt for another favourite of mine, Lianne La Havas' EP Lost & Found.
Mason is currently on tour with Laura Marling in the US and Canada and will be returning to do his rounds of the UK's venues in August.
5. Feist - How Come You Never Go There
Leslie Feist is a Canadian singer-songwriter who performs both as a soloist and as a member of indie rock group, Broken Social Scene. Having started her solo career in 1999 at the young age of 15, Feist was the lead vocalist for Calgary based punk band, Placebo.
Feist has since released subsequent studio albums, Let It Die and The Reminder, both of which gained commercial success, selling over 2.5 million copies. At the 2012 Juno Awards, Feist received three awards including Adult Alternative Album of the Year for Metals and Artist of the Year.
The song, How Come You Never Go There is the tender lead single of her fourth studio album, Metals, a soulful display of Feist's delightfully piercing voice. Oh and I just remembered I am seeing her live in a matter of months, I cannot wait. PS. Yes, it is the same artist who released the famous Mushaboom from 2004!

I absolutely love Feist. Sea lion is probably my all time dance around song along with load of other songs you have now added to my list. You are such a star :) Thanks again for the spotify :)
