weekend wrap up

homemade espresso froyo. say it FRO-YO. sorry makes me giggle every time.

making homemade peanut butter thanks to A beautiful mess make your own pb.
Ok so my peanut butter doooooesn't exactly look like hers. I think it might have to do with the peanuts. I got raw instead of dry roasted. Still think it tasted mighty fine, if I do say so myself. Thanks Elsie!
Last night we went to the Slug and Lettuce for a Comedy night with some friends. It was really nice to get out and just let loose a little bit. That saying of when you get married you become boring, well we don't want to let that happen to us. Although we are major home bodies we do like our occasional night out.
After the Laughterhouse we went to MOJO and sang the night away. It was one of those moments were all the right "tunes' were playing and we were just screaming them at the top of our lungs. After a cocktail or two I also for some odd reason that I will never know think that making faces works to my benefit.

 Clare, Rachel, Gemma and I.

I'm kind of really loving this song right now. The mister and I have also been listening to alot of jazz and blues and I have to say, it's probably the best music. It just gets right down to your bones and makes you feel the rhythm and words. Really touches the soul.  Maybe that's just me but hey ho.

So how was everyone's weekend? Hopefully you had a good one! I have decided I really need to get back into the swing of the clean eating that I had going. I had a slip and seems that once I have slipped it just kept going downhill from there. I won't be cutting fruit out this time but I did feel so much better without processed sugars etc. So I have a few recipes up my sleeve I want to test out this week that I am pretty excited to give a go.

Along with that, I have talked myself into trying a few gym classes out at the gym to the regular cardio. Do you go to any fitness classes? Which ones are your favourites? Do you like a more demanding instructor or someone soft spoken?

How is it already March? I really just don't even understand sometimes how time just goes by so fast. How is it only two years ago that I moved here yet feels like I've lived here forever.
Ah nostalgia.
